"Side Show" is the story of the Hilton Twins who were joined at the hip (Siamese Twins), an extremely powerful and emotional musical.

The TheatreWorks production is a good as you would see on Broadway.
It fascinates as you watch the twins who, billed as "Freaks," leave the carnival to go to Broadway -- simply to become a higher class of "Freaks". (An MGM movie later in their career is called "Freaks".)

The astonishingly moving story is superbly performed in the tradition of Busby Berkeley, and never runs out of Show Stopping numbers. Wonderfully co-directed by Robert Kelly and Bick Goss.
