Musical Mondays: Two Women, One Rope Press Release

Musical Mondays Theatre Lab, Bick Goss and Frank Evans, producing artistic directors, presents Two Women, One Rope, the comedy of Jane Stroll and the songs of Shauna Goodgold, on Thursday, April 13 at 7Pm at the Actors Temple Theatre, 339 West 47th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. Tickets are $21.50 tickets (including a $1.50 facilities charge) and available through Telecharge,com or 212 239-2600. Tickets to the festive evening include a glass of wine or soft drink.

Jane Stroll, a native New Yorker, has worked at the best comedy clubs in New York and LA, including The Improvisation, Caroline's and Catch A Rising Star.

Her TV credits include: "Evening at the Improv." "Caroline's Comedy Hour",and several appearances on "Girl's Night Out." She was also on "The History of Jewish Comedy," and co-hosted her own cable show called "Through the Looking Glass"

She co-founded a group of recovering comics who played at many of the best recovery facilities in the country. In addition, Jane Works as a Licensed Therapist and Social worker, despite her attitude toward people.

She co-wrote wrote and appeared in Musical Mondays’ Mid Life, the User’s Guide, which received a National Alliance of Musical Theatre Producer-Writer Development Award.

Shauna Goodgold was featured in Musical Mondays’ 2009-10 season opener, Persuasion or Seven Year’s Bad Sex, a new four character musical update of Jane Austen’s “Persuasion.” She received kudos for her performances in NYMF’s The Last StarFighter and Queen’s Playhouse in the Park’s Opa. Musical director Molly Gachignard accompanies Shauna as she sings both new and standard songs from the Musical Theatre Repertoire.

Is the single rope a jump rope, noose or rope of pearls? Or something else? Audiences are invited to see exactly what the shared rope is about on the 13th.
